(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of August 26, at Hai Quan Hotel, the Tourism Development Steering Committee of Thai Nguyen province organized a conference to promote tourism in Thai Nguyen province in Hai Phong city.

Attending the Conference were Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province; Mr. Vu Huy Thuong, Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Department of Tourism; and representatives of relevant associations, units and businesses.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province said: Currently, Thai Nguyen province has been focusing on building and developing four main tourism product lines including: Cultural, spiritual, historical, and origin tourism; Ecotourism and resort; Community and rural tourism associated with Tea culture; MICE tourism, sports, adventurous cave exploration. With attractive and unique tourism resources and unique cultural values, it promises to bring visitors a complete journey of experience with the full color of the land and people of Thai Nguyen.

On the occasion of the Conference, Mr. Vu Huy Thuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Hai Phong city introduced to the Tourism Promotion Delegation of Thai Nguyen province and businesses the potentials and advantages for tourism development of Hai Phong city. He affirmed that the Conference is a practical activity to promote inter-regional development cooperation, gradually accelerating recovery and accelerating effective and sustainable tourism development. This is also an opportunity to promote and introduce Thai Nguyen tourism to the people of Hai Phong city as well as introduce Hai Phong tourism to Thai Nguyen tourism businesses, increasing connection and cooperation between tourism businesses of the two provinces and cities.
Through this conference, leaders of the tourism industry of the two provinces and cities requested businesses to strengthen coordination in promoting and introducing destinations, researching product development, and developing markets on the basis of exploiting the advantages and different potentials of the two localities.
