(Haiphong.gov.vn) - The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has just agreed to invest in the project of a high-tech preliminary processing, processing and preservation of agricultural products in Hung Nhan commune, Vinh Bao district, according to the proposal of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned the Party Committee of the City People's Committee to direct implementation in accordance with the law.
The project of high-tech preliminary processing, processing and preservation of agricultural and food products is invested by Hien Le Trading and Services Company Limited. The project uses a land area of 8 hectares in Hung Nhan commune, Vinh Bao district, has a capacity of 24,000 tons/year, total investment capital of 436.9 billion VND. It is expected that in the second quarter of 2021, the project will complete site clearance, and in the third quarter of 2023, investment in construction projects will be completed; Official operation in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The project's investment goal is to serve preliminary processing, processing, and preservation of agricultural products and food in An Hoa, Thanh Luong, Dong Minh communes, Vinh Bao district, with a total initial production area of 200 hectares (this area is rented by businesses from households), and will later increase to 300-500 hectares.
The investment in the high-tech agricultural food processing, processing and preservation complex project in Hung Nhan commune, Vinh Bao district will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector of Vinh Bao district and Hai Phong city, improve the value of crop products and increase the income of local people, contributing to the successful implementation of the National Target Program to build new rural areas.
