(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of October 1, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh chaired a meeting with relevant departments, branches, units and localities to listen to reports on the preparation work for the Launching Ceremony of the Cau Rao 1 Construction Investment Project. The investment project to build a new Rao 1 bridge has the scale of building a permanent bridge to replace the old bridge, building a different level intersection, and building a technical infrastructure system on Lach Tray route. This is a special type of traffic project.
The project is identified as a key project of the city, expected to launch the project in October 2020 to celebrate the 16th Hai Phong City Party Congress.

According to the report of the investor's representative, the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, in preparation for the Launching Ceremony of the Rao 1 Bridge Construction Investment Project, up to now, Ngo Quyen district has issued a decision to revoke more than 3,000 square meters of land from Hai Phong Bus Station Joint Stock Company and 53.9 square meters of land from the City Police. Currently, Hai Phong Bus Station Joint Stock Company has received money and handed over the premises. The project management board has installed a corrugated iron fence separating it from the remaining area of Cau Rao Bus Station, is demolishing the old fence, moving trees, clearing the ground, and is expected to hand it over to the event organizer on October 3.
The Project Management Board coordinated with the event organizer, Thanh An Construction and Communications Joint Stock Company, to design the market, invitations, floor plan to organize the ceremony, and other tasks.
