City Party Secretary Le Van Thanh chaired the meeting.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of October 3, comrade Le Van Thanh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, inspected and listened to a progress report on the implementation of the Ho Sen - Cau Rao 2 trunk road construction investment project, section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Chuon, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.
Investment project to build Ho Sen - Cau Rao 2 road, section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con intersection has a scale of: building an intersection different from Nguyen Van Linh street level, building a road axis from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection with a total route length of more than 1,590m; Roadbed width from 32.5m to 42m according to secondary urban main road standards, design speed 60km/h; Expand the road surface and sidewalk from Cho Con street to To Hieu street with a length of about 150m according to secondary urban main road standards.
The site clearance work of the trunk route from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection passes through 4 wards (Du Hang Kenh, Hang Kenh, Du Hang and Trai Cau) with a total land recovery area of more than 59,000 square meters. To date, Le Chan district has completed land clearance for 470 households/539 plots of land, with a total approved amount of 908 billion VND. Currently, the contractors are focusing their total efforts on installing sewers, technical trenches, digging molds, building road foundations, gravel aggregates... to complete the remaining items of the project. Strive to open the project to technical traffic in November 2020.

For site clearance work on the section from Cho Con street to To Hieu street, the total area of recovery is 0.86 hectares (including: 3 organizations, roads and 31 households) with a budget for site clearance of about 180 billion VND. Currently, the Project Management Board is organizing cadastral measurement to serve site clearance work. Le Chan district is expected to carry out inventory work in October 2020.
Concluding the inspection, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Van Thanh expressed his joy and appreciation for the results and determined efforts of the entire political system of Le Chan district in site clearance work to serve the project. To gain high consensus and consensus among households in handing over the premises, propaganda and advocacy work of departments and organizations in the district plays a very important role.
The City Party Secretary also recognized and appreciated the Project Management Board and city functional agencies in advising and proposing, focusing on allocating resources for the project, helping the project deploy smoothly and ensure progress.
The City Party Secretary emphasized that from this project, we need to learn lessons and resolve to allocate resources to focus on leading and thoroughly directing each project and construction, and learn from experience so that in the coming time, we will adjust the investment method of the Dong Khe 2 Road Project. In the coming term, the urban beautification task will be the city's major strategy, the city will reserve a lot of land fund to invest in social welfare projects such as public works. parks, trees... towards Hai Phong urban area with its own identity.
Mentioning the tasks in the coming time, the City Party Secretary noted the issues of replacing sidewalk tiles, planting trees, unifying the planting of phoenix trees - a familiar symbol of the people of the Port city, and adding flowers along the median strip... For site clearance work on the section from Cho Con street to To Hieu street, the City Party Secretary requested the Project Management Board and Le Chan district to coordinate and determine to quickly implement the work. Land clearance work, the city will prioritize resources to serve this work. Striving to inaugurate the entire project route in December 2020, City Party Secretary Le Van Thanh stated.
