Projects at the City Sailing Training Area serving Sea Games 31 (in Thuy Nguyen district) include the following items: renovation and construction of a number of auxiliary items for the training area; repairing the 3-story executive building and 2-story training area; Equipment procurement project for the Hai Phong team to compete at Sea Games 31. Currently, the Department of Culture and Sports is directing contractors to focus on human resources and construction equipment. Some items have completed 80% of the workload, and some items strive to be completed in April 2022, contributing to active preparation for the work of serving the 31st Sea Games expected to open in May 2022.

For the progress of the project to renovate and repair Lach Tray stadium (in Ngo Quyen district). Currently, items such as: Improving the field surface and drainage system; The lighting system has been basically completed. The renovation of functional rooms, stands, fire protection system and main gate is actively being constructed, expected to be completed in April 2022.

To speed up progress, at the meeting, the Department of Culture and Sports proposed that the city pay attention to adjusting the implementation time of projects and items and provide timely funding for construction and a number of related issues.

After inspecting the field and listening to the report and conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People's Committee reminded the Department of Culture and Sports that it was slow in completing procedures and documents related to the progress of implementing projects according to the conclusion of the Chairman of the City People's Committee; At the same time, the City People's Committee Office was assigned to review the procedures to see where the problems are because from now until the opening of Sea Games 31 there are not many left, the progress of items and projects is slower than required.

For the project at the city's boat racing training area, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to balance and allocate capital sources to ensure 80% of the construction value of the project; Request Thuy Nguyen district to coordinate with the Boat Racing Training Center to arrange separate paths for households in the training center area; At the same time, plant trees in the remaining land at the boat racing area to create a green, clean and beautiful campus; Contractors need to speed up the construction progress of items at the city's boat racing training area to ensure safety, quality, and meet technical and aesthetic requirements.

For the progress of the project to renovate and repair Lach Tray Stadium, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that the Department of Culture and Sports need to proactively participate, remove procedural difficulties and obstacles to arrange funding for construction and repair items so that Hai Phong Football Club can have good training and playing conditions this season. The Chairman of the City People's Committee also agreed on the policy of socializing funds to renovate the housing area for players of Hai Phong Football Club.
