In 2 months, Hai Phong attracted more than 300 million USD of FDI capital

In the first 2 months of 2022, Hai Phong attracted more than 305 million USD of FDI capital, reaching more than 12% of the year plan. Cumulatively to date, industrial parks and economic zones have attracted 423 foreign direct investment projects with a total investment capital of 19.2 billion USD; 2 rounds of capital contribution and share purchase with capital of 2.1 billion USD. There are 188 domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of 283,386 billion VND.

Some newly licensed projects are the Chilisin Electronics Manufacturing Center of Chilisin Electronics Co., Ltd. in VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park to produce and process electronic components to supply to Samsung and Apple with a total capital of 170 million USD; ECPVN Hai Phong 1 Logistics Center project of Emergent VN Logistics Development Pte.Ltd. (Singapore) at DEEP C, total capital of 35 million USD; JD Property Logistics project of JD Future Explore V Limited (Hong Kong) in the Non-Tariff Area and South Dinh Vu Industrial Park worth 32 million USD. Viet Phap Steel Sheet Joint Stock Company also invested 1,448 billion VND to build a steel sheet factory; Hai Phat New Materials Joint Stock Company invested 600 billion VND to build a factory manufacturing SPC plastic flooring products in the non-tariff zone and Nam Dinh Vu industrial park...
