The construction of high-tech parks and key software parks is one of the important solutions to develop and attract investment [...]

The Ministry of Planning and Investment and localities must focus on reviewing and adjusting industrial park plans to report to the Government...
With a total investment of about 250 billion VND from the State budget, Quang Trung Software City has attracted 33 domestic and foreign investors to build facilities to serve software and IT service businesses with a total registered capital of over 6,000 billion VND.
Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Deputy Director of Quang Trung Software Development Company, said that up to now, there are 119 software and IT service enterprises operating at Quang Trung Software Solutions with a total registered business capital of over 2,100 billion VND. Among these, there are 10 enterprises in the list of 50 leading companies in Vietnam, 4 leading enterprises in the world such as HP, IBM (USA), KDDI, HITACHI (Japan)...
Enterprises have built and provided more than 140 products, services and solutions in many different fields, mainly exported to 20 countries such as the United States, Japan and European countries.
According to the assessment of many IT industry experts, from successful development practices over the past 14 years, up to now, the Quang Trung PM model needs to be replicated, deployed and transferred to localities throughout the country that need to build and develop PM PM. Up to now, Quang Trung CVPM chain has 2 members: Quang Trung CVPM and Software Technology Park of Ho Chi Minh City National University (ITP).
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is discussing and researching the construction of PMTCT with some localities such as Lam Dong, Nam Dinh, and the Science Park of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
Recently, Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong province and Ho Chi Minh City National University have all sent documents requesting the Ministry of Information and Communications to consider and propose the Government to issue a document recognizing the form of operation of the Quang Trung CVPM chain.
Accordingly, in terms of form of operation, the chain of operations does not have a legal entity. This is a model of association between members with independent, voluntary legal entities based on the development cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City and organizations and units based in Vietnam.
Cooperating on the basis of linkage, complementation and mutual support for mutual development, members in the chain all enjoy preferential investment policies similar to those that Quang Trung CVPM is applying.
