On the afternoon of October 5, the City People's Committee worked with Hai An district on implementing the 2017 Theme, socio-economic development plan and state budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2018. As a unit that balances its own budget, in the first 9 months of 2017, the implementation of socio-economic tasks, 2017 themes, public investment tasks, revenue and expenditure estimates of the District are focused on achieving positive results. Total realized state budget revenue in 9 months reached 1,669 billion VND, equal to 75.7% of the estimate assigned by the city; Estimated implementation in 2017 reached 2,465.4 billion VND, equal to 111.8% of the estimate assigned by the city. Management, urban beautification, land management, and site clearance are continued to be strengthened and carried out with care, ensuring according to the set processes, regulations, and progress, in which site clearance to serve key central and city projects is strengthened and accelerated.progress. The work of administrative reform and handling of letters has changed dramatically. The inspection and review of long-standing and pressing cases have been paid attention and directed by the District People's Committee to be thoroughly and promptly resolved. Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of the District in the first 9 months of 2017.
