The City People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony and inauguration of projects and works to celebrate the Great Holidays of April and May and the Red Poinciana Festival - Hai Phong 2026.
Accordingly, on this occasion, the city organized the groundbreaking and inauguration of 14 works and projects in the city at 13 bridge points to celebrate the major holidays in April and May and the Red Poinciana Festival - Hai Phong 2026.
The main point held is the Inauguration Ceremony of the Project to invest in construction, renovation and embellishment of the Ben K15 relic complex in Do Son ward. 12 satellite bridge points are organized including:
Starting Ceremony of the Cat Bi Victory Monument Construction Project at Cat Bi International Airport in Hai An Ward;
Commencement Ceremony of 02 Projects: The road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10, avoiding Vinh Bao town, Vinh Bao district and the road connecting National Highway 5 and National Highway 10, passing through Kien An district in Kien An ward;
Starting Ceremony of the investment project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway (CT.08) section through Hai Phong city and 9 km in Thai Binh province (now Hung Yen province) - Construction of Van Uc 2 bridge in Kien Hai commune;
The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Social Housing Construction Investment Project in the new residential area of Cam Dien - Luong Dien commune, Cam Giang district in Mao Dien commune;
Commencement Ceremony of Hoang Dieu Industrial Park infrastructure development investment project in Gia Phuc commune;
Starting Ceremony of Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park infrastructure investment and construction business project (Phase 1) in wards: Bach Dang, Nam Trieu and Hoa Binh;
Commencement Ceremony of the Binh Giang Industrial Park infrastructure investment and construction project in Nguyen Luong Bang commune;
Commencement Ceremony of the Project on investment in construction and infrastructure business of Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park in Hai An ward;
Commencement Ceremony of the Project on construction, business, operation, and management of technical infrastructure of Thuy Nguyen's mechanical and foundry craft village industrial cluster in Le Ich Moc ward;
Inauguration Ceremony of the Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster Investment Construction and Infrastructure Project in Nguyen Luong Bang Commune;
Inauguration Ceremony of Hai Duong Province Social Protection Center Construction Project in Nam Sach and Thai Tan Communes;
Inauguration Ceremony of Tu Minh 110kV Transmission Line and Substation Project (Dai An 2) at Dai An Industrial Park Expansion, Mao Dien Commune.
According to the plan, the event will take place on May 14, 2026. From 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., event venues organize their own receptions for delegates and welcome performances. From 2:30 p.m., the program will be held jointly, live and online on Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio and Television./.
