Hai Phong City has coordinated with the General Department of Customs, Joint Stock Commercial Banks, and Hai Phong Customs Department to connect and pay fees for using seaport infrastructure (HTCB fee) through the Electronic Payment Portal of the General Department of Customs (24/7 payment).
Up to now, there have been 4 Joint Stock Commercial Banks connecting fee collection and payment via the 24/7 Payment Gateway, including: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank); Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). In particular, two banks, Vietcombank and Vietinbank, in addition to opening Internet banking channels for businesses, have also opened Internet banking channels for individual customers to pay fees.
To strengthen administrative procedure reform, promote non-cash payments and create favorable conditions for businesses, organizations and individuals to collect and pay fees; Hai Phong City People's Committee announced:
From August 1, 2021, it is recommended that businesses, organizations and individuals trading in imported goods, exported goods, temporarily imported and re-exported goods, goods in transit, and goods stored in bonded warehouses stop paying fees in cash for seaport infrastructure fees; Promote fee payment through the 24/7 Electronic Payment Portal of the General Department of Customs and bank transfer.
The fee collection agency, the Joint Stock Commercial Banks participating in the collection of HTCB fees and related agencies are responsible for guiding and creating the best conditions for businesses, organizations and individuals to pay the HTCB fees smoothly.
