Divided into several stitches to be constructed at the same time
In the scorching hot weather of the first days of July, at the construction site of a new bridge right next to Gia bridge in Kenh Giang commune (Thuy Nguyen district), more than 20 workers are urgently digging soil and dredging mud to make a mold for the bridge's leading path at abutment M2. Dozens of trucks go in and out, transporting soil and rocks dug up during the process of drilling piles, dredging mud to make path molds... Bored pile drilling equipment has just been delivered and is drilling 5 piles with a diameter of 1,000mm at abutment M2. Right next to it, other workers are casting prestressed reinforced concrete beams for the bridge ready for the next construction stages. This is one of three new bridges built right next to existing bridges on Highway 10, from Da Bac bridge to Da Bac bridge.Kien. The 2 new bridges adjacent to the old Hang Luong bridge and the old Trinh Xa bridge have also completed filling in cofferdams, and are carrying out excavation and mud dredging to mold the road leading to the bridge... at the same time as Gia bridge.
In parallel with the construction of new bridges, contractors are also urgently constructing, upgrading and expanding National Highway 10. Contractor Viet Uc Group Joint Stock Company simultaneously deployed 6 construction sites (4 sites in Dong Son commune, 1 site in Kenh Giang commune, 1 site in Kien Bai commune). Another contractor, Hoang Loc Construction Co., Ltd., also simultaneously deployed two construction projects in Luu Kiem commune area. Contractors are also ready with machinery and human resources to build two resettlement areas in Kien Bai and Luu Kiem communes immediately after handing over the premises.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge, started on May 8, 2021, expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2022. The project has a length of 12.9km according to the scale of a level 3 plain road, 4 lanes, roadbed width of 24.5m; Design speed 80km/h. Project to build a new unit next to the old bridge for Hang Luong bridge, Gia bridge and Trinh Xa bridge with a width of 12m and build 2 resettlement areas in communes: Kien Bai, Luu Kiem.
Speed up the land clearance process
According to the leadership of the Urban Development and Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board, the unit is actively urging contractors to speed up construction progress, ensure technical and aesthetic works and strive to complete the entire project in the third quarter of 2022. The project uses a total land area of more than 47.5 hectares. Of which, National Highway 10, the section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge is more than 39.3 hectares, the resettlement area serving Kien Bai commune and Luu Kiem commune projects is more than 8.2 hectares. Up to now, the Management Board has just been handed over more than 27 hectares of National Highway 10 by the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district, the resettlement area has not yet been handed over. In addition, some sections and district lines have handed over the site but have not yet relocated some signs, perennial trees, and crops, so there is no clean site for construction.
According to the leaders of Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee, to ensure project implementation progress, Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee organized a review and temporarily handed over the public land area to the Project Management Board. The total number of households whose land was recovered is nearly 1,500 households, including more than 1,200 households on National Highway 10 and more than 200 households in resettlement areas. For households on National Highway 10, the District People's Committee directed the People's Committees of the communes to conduct public meetings, deploy land recovery notices and basically complete the inventory work. The consulting unit is completing documents to determine specific land prices for compensation, striving to complete in the third quarter of 2021. For the resettlement area, up to now the district has publicly announced the compensation plan for households with a total compensation amount of more than 34 billion VND.The district is actively implementing the next work, striving to hand over the resettlement area to the Project Management Board as soon as possible.
At the meeting to listen to reports on the implementation of the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, the section from Da Bac Bridge to Kien Bridge on July 10, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, requested the Urban Development Project Management Board and Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board and Thuy Nguyen district to focus highly on completing site clearance work, in which priority should be given to completing the reconstruction areas. settled first.
