It can be seen that the results of attracting FDI in provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region in recent times have had many positive bright spots. In addition to localities that have traditions and strengths in attracting FDI such as Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, and Hai Phong, in the past few years, a number of localities have risen strongly and attracted many large FDI projects, having a positive impact on the province's socio-economic development. A typical example in the Red River Delta region is Bac Ninh. Bac Ninh has attracted many world-famous corporations in the fields of electronics and telecommunications such as Canon, Samsung, P&Tel, Sumitmoto, ABB, Nokia to invest in the area and are producing and doing business effectively, typically two Samsung projects in Bac Ninh.nh, with a total registered capital of up to 6.5 billion USD; has had a positive impact on exports as well as creating jobs for local workers as well as neighboring provinces.
In addition, Hai Duong is also considered a locality that knows how to take advantage of its advantages to attract effective FDI projects into the province. It can be said that Hai Duong province has many policies to encourage and create a favorable environment for investors, focusing on planning industrial clusters and zones.
In general, the provinces in the Red River Delta region are considered to have many advantages in terms of geographical location, human resources... to attract FDI capital. Besides localities that have had achievements in attracting FDI in recent times, some provinces are still limited and have not been proactive in promoting and promoting the business investment environment as well as local advantages to attract foreign investors. In the coming time, the Red River Delta region needs to have orientations and policies to attract FDI towards high-tech industries and modern services, creating breakthroughs and increasing the province's competitiveness.
