Mr. Keizo Hamada, Governor of Kagawa Province (Japan) has just sent a letter to Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung thanking him for sending the Hai Phong ca tru art troupe to perform at the Setouchi festival on September 28, 2019, in an effort to promote cultural exchange cooperation between the two localities.
Accordingly, Mr. Keizo Hamada, Governor of Kagawa Prefecture, is very grateful to the Ca tru art troupe for visiting Kagawa Prefecture and performing Ca Tru - a traditional Vietnamese art form at the opening program of the Setouchi festival held on Awashiwa Island in Mitoyo City. At the opening ceremony, with favorable weather conditions, audiences from Kagawa Prefecture and abroad came to enjoy the traditional Vietnamese art performance program.
The theme of this year's Setouchi festival is cultural exchange between Asian countries and Japan. The Governor of Kagawa province said he was very happy because through the participation of the Ca tru art troupe of Hai Phong city, people of Kagawa province and foreign countries learned about the 10-year friendly cooperative relationship between Hai Phong and Kagawa.
Mr. Keizo Hamada hopes that this cultural exchange event will be a bridge, welcoming the Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee to visit Kagawa province and sign a cooperation agreement, deepening the cooperative relationship between the two localities in many fields.
