The City Party Committee Office has announced the opinions of the City Party Secretary on park projects expected to be invested in districts in the period 2021-2025.
On March 1, 2021, Comrade Le Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council heard a report on park projects expected to be invested in districts in the period 2021-2025. Also attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Comrade Nguyen Duc Tho, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Heads of departments, branches, localities, units: Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Finance, Planning and Investment, Transport, Urban Development Project Management Board and Civil Construction Investment, City Party Committee Office, Chairman of the People's Committee of 7 districts of the city.

After listening to the report of the Department of Construction and the opinions of the delegates, the Secretary of the City Party Committee has the following opinion:
Assign the City People's Committee to direct the People's Committees of the districts to prepare a project to build parks in residential areas in the wards, submit to the City People's Committee for synthesis, and report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee before March 16, 2021, according to the following principles:
Each ward builds a park in a densely populated area in accordance with standards and regulations, ensuring convenience and serving maximum beneficiaries with an area of about 5,000 m2 (depending on conditions, it can range from less than 5,000 m2 to 10,000 m2).
Priority is given to building parks on vacant land, then on land managed by businesses that have stopped operating, or do not conform to planning, or need to be recovered. In case of necessity, land recovery from some households will be carried out (at the same time, there will be appropriate compensation, support, and resettlement policies to ensure people's rights).
For large parks (over 10,000 m2): Assign the City People's Committee to direct the Department of Construction to propose new construction, upgrades, renovations and repairs to serve the people and beautify the city's urban area.
