(Haiphong.gov.vn) - The City People's Committee has just issued Decision 3092 to establish the Steering Committee for urban management and beautification of the city for the period 2021 - 2025, headed by Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
Deputy Heads of the Committee, including comrades: Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Hung, Director of the Department of Construction - Standing Deputy Head and Head of the Support Team; Vu Duy Tung, Director of the Department of Transport. Steering Committee members are leaders of departments, branches, functional branches and leaders of districts.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising and helping the City Party Committee and People's Committee direct the development of programs and plans to implement the construction of green parks, embellish urban rivers and invest, renovate and embellish a number of urban roads.
At the same time, it is the focal point for coordination between authorities in the organization of research, propose solutions to solve important problems, carry out inspection, supervision, and urging on issues related to the construction of green parks, embellishment of urban rivers and investment in renovating and beautifying a number of urban roads according to regulations.
