The investment project to build a road from the coastal road to Van Bun intersection (Ly Thai To street) in Do Son district, invested by the People's Committee of Do Son District, has a length of 6.2km, divided into 4 sections, with a total land area used for the project of 19 hectares, including more than 8 hectares of rice land, with a total expected investment of over 833 billion. The project is implemented with the goal of creating an economic - technical - urban corridor in the Northwest - Southeast direction connecting Do Son tourist area with the city center and creating conditions for the western wards of Do Son district to restructure towards urbanization. From there, creating momentum to develop commercial, service, and tourism activities and attract capital from investors in residential land, production and business, services, and tourism in accordance with the content of the master plan for socio-economic development of Do Son district to 2020, vision to 2025 approved by the City People's Committee in March 2013.
The Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council affirms that the policy of building a road from the coastal road to Van Bun Junction in Do Son district is necessary, creating momentum for socio-economic development of Do Son district as well as the city. However, the investor and project consultant need to continue to add and adjust a number of items to ensure technical and aesthetic safety for the project.
