The Iron Market Trade Center is located in a prime location right next to the Tam Bac River and on Quang Trung route, which has an important role and significance. However, the current operation of the Iron Market Trade Center is ineffective, the works built since 1992 have deteriorated, and the Investor has not completed the works according to the approved Project. Faced with the above situation, from the city's perspective, it is necessary to attract investors with enough financial potential and experience to carry out the project to build a complex of commercial and entertainment centers, 5-star hotels and offices for rent to create an architectural highlight for the city's central flower garden strip, improving land use efficiency in the area.

Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of the City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to preside over and coordinate with the Departments of Finance, Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment to inspect and draft the Document of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the policy of divestment of State capital in Joint Ventures, handling of State-owned assets and investment policy of new projects in the Area. Iron market. At the same time, propose plans and procedures to invest in new projects in the Iron Market Area.

Assign Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to preside with Hong Bang District People's Committee and Hai Thanh Joint Venture Company Limited to inspect, research, and propose handling plans for over 425 cases signing business contracts at Cho Sat Trade Center.
