(Haiphong.gov.vn) – In order to continue to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing legal regulations on minerals, overcome shortcomings and limitations in state management of sand mineral exploitation and trading activities and resolutely prevent illegal activities; The City People's Committee has issued Directive strengthening the management of sand mineral exploitation and business activities in Hai Phong city.

For enterprises granted a Sand Mineral Mining License, they can only operate mining activities according to the issued License after completing the dossier in accordance with the provisions of law on land, environment, minerals and relevant laws; register the start date of basic mine construction, start date of mining with the City People's Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment and notify the People's Committee of the district where mineral exploitation activities will be conducted; Construction of mineral exploitation within the licensed boundaries, in accordance with the basic design and approved mine design, and in compliance with environmental protection commitments; Sand mining activities according to the provisions of the Mineral Law and the issued Mineral Mining License. OwnerLicenses to exploit and transport sand minerals are only allowed to use inspected and registered watercraft; Use the correct quantity and tonnage of vehicles as stated in the approved investment project, basic design, and mine design; Ensure correct and complete implementation of regulations on labor safety during the process of exploiting and transporting sand minerals.
