(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On April 23, Hai Phong Vietnam - Korea Business Club held a conference to summarize activities in the first quarter of 2025.
The conference was attended by Mr. Seog Myeong Gug, Chairman of KoCham Hai Phong; Mr. Le Van Quy, Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, Hai Phong; Mr. Vu Trong Thai, Standing Member of the Association; with a large number of delegates, businessmen and members.

In his opening speech at the Conference, the representative of the Club's Executive Board emphasized: In the context of increasingly deep international integration, the establishment and development of the Club not only aims to promote economic cooperation between businesses, but also serves as a bridge connecting the business communities of the two countries, contributing to strengthening the Vietnam - Korea friendly relationship locally. Although it has only been in operation for 3 months, the Club has quickly consolidated its organizational structure, established specialized committees and perfected the brand identity system. In particular, the Club has built a strong cooperative relationship with the Korean Association and KoCham in Hai Phong.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Club organized and sponsored many outstanding activities. Typically, sponsoring entertainment programs in the Golf Tournament of the Korean Association (April 19), coordinating to organize Vietnamese classes for Koreans, participating in Korean classes for Vietnamese businesses, thereby strengthening cultural exchange connections.

The highlight of the Club's activities is a business trip combined with trade promotion in Korea taking place from March 27 to April 1, with the participation of nearly 30 businesses. The trip was carefully prepared and brought many practical results. Specifically, five memorandums of cooperation (MOU) were signed with partners such as Seoul Veterans Association, 5S Media Company, NEWLAND Cosmetics Company, Gangwon Province Women's Business Association and some Universities. In particular, a project to build a fertilizer factory in southern Vietnam with 100% private investment from Korea is currently being promoted. The results achieved in the first quarter of 2025 are clear evidence of the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and dedication of all members. What time?Next year, the Club will continue to implement more practical activities, improve economic cooperation efficiency, promote cultural exchange and connect the Korean community in Hai Phong./
