Increasing the proportion of inland waterway transport of goods through Hai Phong seaport
Planning is the basis for investing in developing a synchronous system of ports and inland wharfs, creating connections between inland waterway transport and other modes of transport to ensure speed, convenience and safety. Inland ports and wharves will contribute to transporting passengers and large bulk goods such as coal, cement, fertilizer, construction materials, oversized and oversized goods... inland to reduce pressure on the road traffic structure.
