(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 3, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuyen and leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities and units inspected the progress of the implementation of the investment project to build a coastal road section through Hai Phong city and 9km in Thai Binh province in the form of public-private partnership PPP.
According to the report of the Project Management Board, site clearance work in localities where the project passes through, including Do Son district, Kien Thuy district and Tien Lang district, is actively accelerating progress. Along with completing procedures and approving compensation and support plans, localities are currently actively coordinating with the Project Management Board and the Investor to urgently pay compensation and support, and at the same time allocate resettlement land to households.
The coastal road has a length of 11.2 km passing through Tien Lang district, nearly 6 km of Kien Thuy district and 2.9 km of Do Son district. Regarding construction work, on the handed over site, the Investor and contractor are carrying out procedures according to regulations, organizing mine clearance, and constructing Van Uc bridge. Currently, this project has completed 13/52 abutments; Currently constructing pillars T18, T19 and T23, along with a number of pier bases, temporary bridge systems, and Super - T beam casting platforms. Thai Binh Bridge is also planned to be constructed this April.
Through field inspection of construction work and site clearance for projects, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuoi requested relevant departments and agencies along with the Investor and local People's Committees to continue to speed up site clearance progress, concentrate human resources and construction vehicles to ensure project progress. During the construction process, it is necessary to proactively have solutions to ensure traffic safety, labor safety, and minimize impacts on the environment and people's daily lives.
