According to the report of the Project Management Board of the Transportation Works Area, the implementation status of the South Cau Binh Intersection Investment and Construction Project to date is as follows: regarding site clearance work, currently the site has been handed over 84,983.54m²/116,684.20m² (reaching 72.83%). In Hong Bang district, 76,894.44 m² (reaching 74.55%) has been handed over, the Hong Bang District People's Committee has finished inventorying 38 households on Bach Dang street; However, the Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company asked the contractor to temporarily stop construction on the cleared site due to a request that they had not received compensation and had not been assigned the land area exchanged with the land area recovered to implement the project. In An Duong district, 8,089.10m² was handed over (reaching 59.76%). From the date of commencement until now, the contractor has completed che items: underground tunnels, overpasses of branches; The total accumulated volume reaches about 24.58%.
Through listening to the report and examining the reality, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh commented that the South Cau Binh Interchange project is a very important project in the socio-economic development associated with urban beautification of the city. However, site clearance progress is still slow, Departments, branches, localities, project management boards, and contractors have not had definitive solutions and have not coordinated well with each other. The Standing Vice President requested relevant units to focus on directing and ensuring the project's progress, quality, safety and traffic convenience.
The Permanent Vice Chairman requested the Project Management Board to work with departments, branches, localities, contractors, and the City People's Committee Office to review the critical progress path and arising issues, and report to the City People's Committee as a basis for direction and administration; Hong Bang district and An Duong district, based on the progress of the project, review the compensation policy, report to the City People's Committee on handling measures, and resolve it completely on April 5, 2019 to hand over the site for the project; Regarding land planning for the project, the Department of Construction and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment inspected and reported to the City People's Committee on April 5, 2019; The project management board and construction units proactively handle and deploy work and report on issues beyond their authority.
Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Binh requested the Project Management Board, contractors, Hong Bang district to coordinate with the Traffic Inspectorate and Traffic Police forces to channelize and guide traffic, strictly handle violations, and ensure absolute safety for people participating in traffic through the project area.
