According to the construction contractor's report, the unit has been proactive in preventing and combating the Covid-19 epidemic for workers and employees; control foreign workers coming to work; At the start of each shift, workers and laborers have their body temperature measured and their health monitored daily; Along with that, propaganda about disease prevention and control is carried out. Regarding ensuring labor safety, 100% of workers and employees at the Project are trained and instructed on labor safety regulations before starting work and are regularly reminded, rewarded and criticized for individuals who perform well or poorly on labor safety. Security and order and environmental sanitation at the Project are guaranteed.

At the meeting, the construction contractor said that currently the construction volume has reached 63%, expected to hand over the project to the Investor at the end of September 2020. At the same time, it is recommended that the district and city build infrastructure connected to the Project such as power lines, drainage systems, sidewalks, roads... The investor also said that when the Aeon Mall Hai Phong Le Chan Shopping Center Project comes into operation, it is expected to employ 3,000 workers and hopes to continue to receive the attention, help, and companionship of local authorities, leaders of Le Chan district and Hai Phong city.

Through field inspection and listening to reports, Secretary of the District Party Committee Le Trung Kien requested that the Contractor and Investor continue to control and promote propaganda on disease prevention and control for workers and employees, and regularly coordinate with local authorities to promptly handle problems arising in disease prevention and control. Along with that, strictly implement regulations on labor safety, fully implement regimes and policies for workers; Ensuring environmental sanitation, security and order. He hopes the Investor will speed up the progress to ensure the inauguration of the Project on the occasion of the 16th City Party Congress according to the proposed plan.
