On the afternoon of October 3, the City People's Committee worked with Hong Bang district on implementing the 2017 Theme, socio-economic development plan and state budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2018. In the first 9 months of the year, the economy in Hong Bang district developed stably. The value of industrial production in the district's management area reached 151/200 billion VND, equal to 75.5% of the year's plan, equal to 87.28% over the same period; Total budget revenue is estimated at 963.95 billion VND, equal to 96% of the year plan, equal to 76% over the same period. Urban management and beautification work is focused and directed fiercely. Environmental protection is enhanced. Site clearance work and implementation of projects and works continue to be implemented drastically. Cultural and social security activities are given practical and thoughtful attention, the material and spiritual lives of the people are improved. Political security is maintained, social order and safety are guaranteed.
Regarding implementing the City's 2017 Theme "Strengthening discipline in budget revenue and expenditure - Improving the business investment environment", the District has consolidated the Steering Committee to prevent budget revenue loss, established an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect and review enterprises and business households operating in the area; Strictly implement state budget expenditure management; Complete the construction of the master plan for socio-economic development of Hong Bang district until 2025 and submit it to the City People's Council for appraisal; promote reform of administrative procedures; Maintain the activities of the District Business Association, promptly grasp difficulties and problems of businesses to support solving them.
However, some budget revenues are still low, not reaching the average target set; not thoroughly managed, still missing revenue sources; The management of sidewalk order and traffic safety still frequently occurs with re-encroachment on some roads; Site clearance work of some projects is still behind schedule; Some applications for land use rights certificates are still slow to be processed.
