(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Celebrating the 79th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on the evening of August 24, Hong Bang district organized a program to launch activities on Quang Trung walking street, Phan Boi Chau ward. This is the first walking street of Hong Bang district in the plan to promote the development of the night-time economy and promote the unique culture of the district and city.
Attending the kick-off program were comrades: Le Ngoc Tru, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Pham Van Doan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; district leaders, socio-political organizations, wards and numerous tourists and residents.

Accordingly, the district organized activities to launch the project to build tourist streets, pilot walking activities and develop the night economy in the district, phase 1: Quang Trung route and some areas in Phan Boi Chau ward, Hoang Van Thu ward.
At Quang Trung walking street, Phan Boi Chau ward (the section from the beginning of Tam Bac lake behind the City Information, Exhibition and Cinema Center to the intersection with Nguyen Thai Hoc street), the pilot will start from now until the end of 2024, on weekend nights; In particular, Friday evening from 19:00 - 23:00, Saturday and Sunday evening from 18:00 - 23:00.
