According to the report of the People's Committee of Duong Kinh district, in the first 9 months of 2019, the economy maintained stability and development, basically all socio-economic indicators increased compared to the same period in 2018. Total realized production value was 7,103.6 billion VND, reaching 77.6% of the plan, up 16.91% over the same period, of which: industrial value - Handicraft industry - construction implementation is 4,057 billion VND, reaching 77.3% of the plan, an increase of 17.09% over the same period; The value of trade and services performed is 2,690 billion VND, reaching 78.2% of the plan, an increase of 19.03% over the same period; The value of implemented agriculture, forestry and fisheries is 349.6 billion VND, reaching 77.7% of the plan, an increase of 1.62% over the same period. Total state budget revenue is 307,287 million VND, reaching 84.03%; Implemented budget expenditure is 196.919 million VND, reaching 70.6% of the city's plan. Land and environmental management is effective. The management of construction order and sidewalk order is paid attention and directed. Implement social security policies well. The quality of education and training continues to increase. Political security and social order and safety are maintained.

Regarding the 2020 socio-economic development plan, the district focuses highly on budget revenue and expenditure; Promote investment attraction, improve the investment environment, production and business, support and develop businesses and set a number of key indicators such as: industrial production value in the district's management area is 712 billion VND; Budget revenue in the area is 238,250 million VND; Budget expenditure is 358,614 million VND; introduced jobs to 2,000 people; The rate of people participating in health insurance is 90.1%; The poverty rate is 0.49%; The rate of urban waste collected and treated hygienically is 96%; The percentage of households using hygienic water is 99.8%...

In the 2019 administrative reform work, from January 1, 2019 to August 20, 2019, the District People's Committee carried out 26 administrative reform tasks, completing 18/26 tasks.
