On April 22, in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue received the Delegation referring to Article IV (Fund Charter) of the International Monetary Organization (IMF).

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed the Party and Government's determination to remain steadfast in the goal of macroeconomic stability, focusing on growth quality and accelerating economic restructuring, especially fiscal consolidation, handling bad debts, restructuring the banking system and the State enterprise system through the use of necessary resources and accelerating legal reform.
The Deputy Prime Minister asked the Delegation to continue to coordinate closely, provide practical policy assessments and advice to the Government of Vietnam and Party and State agencies in the coming time, and at the same time have a stronger voice in support of Vietnam's policy orientation and determination.
