On the afternoon of April 20, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam and leaders of departments and branches of Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Customs, Taxation... received and worked with Mr. Park Sang Shik, Ambassador of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam.
18 Mr. Park Sang Shik expressed his joy to visit Hai Phong and attend the conference to promote the opening of air routes on the occasion of the international airport Cat Bi celebrates thimplemented and put into use. Appreciating the city's development potential as well as modern infrastructure, which are favorable conditions for Korean businesses to invest in Hai Phong, the Minister was very excited that businesses are always cared for, helped, and created favorable conditions by the city. With his position, the Minister will do his best to bring more and more Korean businesses to Hai Phong.Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam informed that there are currently 63 Korean businesses investing in Hai Phong, accounting for a large proportion of the city's total FDI capital and most are operating quite effectively, of which the largest is LGE and soon LG Display with a total registered investment capital of up to 3 billion USD. Affirming Hai Phong's position, favorable conditions in infrastructure, especially political determination, high spirit of administrative procedure reform, focusing on training and attracting high-quality human resources, the Vice Chairman said that in the coming time, Hai Phong will promote the opening of many international routes, including with Korea, hoping that the Minister will actively promote and invite Korean businesses to Hai Phong.
