(Haiphong.gov.vn) – With the desire to develop forms of production and business organization to produce agricultural products and services that have advantages that meet standards and are competitive in domestic and international markets, contributing to the development of the rural economy, the City People's Committee has just approved the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program of Hai Phong city for the period 2021-2025, oriented to 2030. Through the development of production in rural areas, contributing to industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas, promoting rural labor restructuring, protecting the environment and preserving good traditional values of rural Hai Phong.
The one-commune-one-product program will be implemented in the period 2021 - 2025, oriented to 2030, implemented in 217 communes, wards and towns in 8 districts and 7 districts of Hai Phong city.
Accordingly, the implementation of the OCOP cycle includes: propaganda and instructions about the program; receive registration of product ideas; receive production and business plans; Implement production and business plans; product evaluation, classification and trade promotion. In particular, focusing on developing products and services in 6 groups including: food, beverages, herbs, fabrics and garments, decorative handicrafts, tourism services and community tourism destinations.
Upgrading product development along the value chain
In the period 2021 - 2025, the one-commune-one-product program sets the goal of developing, upgrading and completing classification evaluation dossiers for 335 OCOP products. At the same time, consolidate and develop production and business organizations, choose to develop and restructure 50 - 100 economic organizations such as cooperatives, small and medium enterprises, and individual business households, complete upgrading and developing products along the value chain for at least 150 - 200 products with potential and commercial viability...
In addition, review and consolidate the OCOP Program management system from city to district, commune, ward, and town; Strive to have 100% of OCOP program managers at all levels trained and trained to improve management and operations skills; 100% of managers of businesses, cooperatives, and registered business owners participating in the OCOP program are trained in professional knowledge of production and business management.
In the period 2026 - 2030, re-evaluate the products of the period 2021 - 2025, complete the evaluation and classification records for potential products belonging to OCOP product groups, continue to support and develop new economic organizations making OCOP products.
