(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of September 15, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho went to inspect and listen to the progress report of the Dong Khe 2 road construction investment project - phase 1, section from Nguyen Binh Khiem - Van Cao intersection to Le Loi street; The inspection was accompanied by leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.
According to Ngo Quyen district's report, implementing the Dong Khe 2 road construction investment project, by September 14, the district coordinated with relevant units to clear the land for 327/393 households within the construction boundary of the 25 m trunk road, currently 66 households have not handed over the land. Along with site clearance work, the contractor organized 6 urgent construction tasks, striving to complete the route by the end of 2021.

After inspecting the reality and listening to the project progress report, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho acknowledged that Ngo Quyen district has coordinated with departments, branches and the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to actively implement site clearance work, ensuring the volume of site handover according to the city's required progress milestones.
Units are carrying out dismantling work
However, the amount of land that has not yet been cleared is still large; The work of dismantling works and architectural objects on land has been handed over slowly. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested Ngo Quyen district to gather vehicles and complete the demolition of works on the land that has been handed over by September 22, creating conditions for contractors to access construction. The district continues to propagate, advocate, and speed up the progress of site clearance for the remaining 66 households within the boundary of the 25 m trunk road. Of which, by September 30, the district completed site clearance for 51/66 households, while 15 households in the Linh field area were completely resolved before October 5, handing over the entire route to the contractor. Along with that, the district will soon complete the adjustment of planning for the project's resettlement areas.
For the Management Board of Hai Phong traffic construction investment projects, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the unit to coordinate and support Ngo Quyen district in site clearance work, direct contractors to build the critical path, take advantage of favorable weather to concentrate machinery, vehicles, and human resources, take advantage of the construction site urgently day and night, ensuring the progress and quality of the project. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Transport to review the design of traffic organization at the beginning of Le Loi and Nguyen Binh Khiem streets so that when the project is put into operation and use, traffic safety is guaranteed.
