On the afternoon of November 10, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh and leaders of relevant functional branches and localities on site, inspected the construction progress of the Nguyen Binh Khiem - Dinh Vu intersection.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh requested the contractor and related units to take advantage of the weather and strive to complete the project in November 2017.
Reporting at the inspection, Mr. Pham Van Phong, Director of the Waterway and Road Transport Project Management Board (Department of Transport) said that recently, due to the impact of bad weather, the construction process has been slow compared to the set schedule. The Project Management Board hopes for the understanding of people and businesses. Currently, taking advantage of the weather's support and the drastic direction of city leaders, contractors and related units concentrate the highest concentration of human resources and means to speed up the construction progress, absolutely ensure the quality of the project, affirming the determination to complete the project by the end of November 2017 to put it into operation and use.
Contractors are actively working to speed up project implementation.
Speaking at the inspection, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged and praised the project management board, contractors and construction units for taking advantage of the good weather, trying to focus and mobilize all resources and machinery to accelerate project implementation.
The Permanent Vice Chairman emphasized that this is a particularly important intersection. The completion of this intersection will contribute to completing the transportation network to meet the region's transportation needs, beautify the appearance of the city's new gateway area, and promote socio-economic efficiency.
The Permanent Vice President directed relevant units to focus on construction efforts so that the project could be completed in November 2017 and put into synchronous use. During the construction process, quality and safety requirements must be absolutely guaranteed.
