On the evening of May 10, at Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park, the Opening Ceremony of the program "Bridge connecting Vietnam - China Hai Phong 2025" took place. Attending were Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong; Vice Chairman of Thanh Tu District Government, Nanning (China) Mao Ham.
The program was jointly organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Hai Phong City Department of Foreign Affairs and Shinec Joint Stock Company, in order to strengthen friendly cooperative relations between Vietnam and China in many fields such as economics, culture, people-to-people relations, trade and investment. The event is part of a series of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025), celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Poinciana Festival - Hai Phong 2025.
Attending the event were also representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy; Representatives of agencies and departments of 02 cities; representatives of Chinese businesses investing in Hai Phong, partners and investors of Shinec Joint Stock Company and a large number of local people.
In opening speech, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Thi Bich Dung said: "The Bridge Connecting Vietnam - China Hai Phong 2025" is a program to introduce the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam and China, demonstrate the spirit of exchange, enhance understanding and connection between the people of the two sides; at the same time, create a space to connect businesses, promote exchange and cooperation in many fields. Through rich and close activities, the program will contributing to introducing the image of a friendly and dynamic city of Hai Phong to international friends. This is also an opportunity to promote cultural - tourism potential and open up suggestions for cooperation in the fields of service, trade and local economy.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company Pham Hong Diep emphasized: As a pioneer enterprise in developing the first Eco-Industrial Park in Hai Phong in particular and in Vietnam in general, Shinec Joint Stock Company always focuses on the value of sustainable development, connecting with community environmental culture. The "Bridge connecting Vietnam - China" program is a commitment of businesses to accompany the city, with central and local foreign affairs agencies, promoting cooperation with China not only from an economic perspective, but also cultural and human connections.
The special highlight of the program is the performance of two art troupes from Nanning and Ningbo (China) on May 10 and 11. In addition, the cultural experience area and typical folk games of the two countries such as clay pot smashing, shuttlecock throwing, stilt walking, sack jumping, etc. will create a lively exchange space, contributing to strengthening understanding and connection between the people of the two countries.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 10, within the framework of the program "Bridge connecting Vietnam - China Hai Phong 2025", the Conference "Cooperation Journey" took place at Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park (IZ). The conference was attended by representatives of nearly 200 Chinese investors operating in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park in particular and in Hai Phong in general.
The event took place with the important content of a discussion session with representatives of Chinese businesses operating in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park and in Hai Phong city, to listen to investors' opinions, while expanding business opportunities and tightening friendship.
Through that, businesses from both sides will gradually form a close and sustainable cooperative relationship; jointly develop specific, in-depth projects, creating a foundation for long-term companionship./.
