In 2024, the city's Science Technology and Innovation activities will achieve many outstanding results, Hai Phong's local innovation index (PII) ranks third in the country. With the wave of high technology transfer from abroad into Vietnam, the city has attracted 4.9 billion USD of FDI capital, of which high technology accounts for about 30%, turning Hai Phong into the country's leading high-tech industrial development center.
