On the afternoon of April 17, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh and relevant functional branches and localities inspected the progress of the investment project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Lang Am bridge to Nhan Muc bridge.
According to the report of the Department of Transport, up to this point, the Land Clearance Compensation Council has completed the inventory and preparation of plans for 1,227/1,227 households and organizations (reaching 100%), including: 320/320 agricultural land households with an area of 32,740.9 m2; 900/900 residential land households and 7 organizations. Currently, 883/900 households have received money, including 867/900 households handing over the site to the construction contractor... On the old National Highway 37, the contractor has accessed 100% of the site; On the new route, there have been 207 households dismantling and handing over the premises, 4 households have received money but have not handed over the premises and there are still 3 households that have not received money and have not handed over the premises.

Regarding construction progress, the current construction volume of the entire route reaches 66.3%. Of which, the old National Highway 37 is currently estimated to be 75% complete, with 7.7/7.7km of medium-grained plastic layer completed, 5.8/6km of sidewalk paving and planting of 470/624 coconut trees and 103/112 mother of pearl trees. For the new route: currently estimated to be 58% completed, the total length of the entire route under construction is 7.29/7.49km.
Through field inspection, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh acknowledged that functional departments and branches along with the locality, Project Management Board, and contractors have shown responsibility in coordinating to accelerate the progress of the project.
Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Binh requested Vinh Bao district to continue to review and strengthen mobilization of households in land clearance; assigned Vinh Bao district to coordinate with the Management Board and functional agencies responsible for protecting construction work; assigned the City People's Committee Office to coordinate with Vinh Bao district to seek opinions from the City Party Committee on organizing a plan to enforce site clearance.
