Another number showing the stability and steadfastness of Hai Phong's economy is budget revenue. In 9 months, total State budget revenue reached more than 67,000 billion VND, growing by 20.6%. Notably, both import-export tax revenue and domestic revenue have high growth rates. Of which, revenue from import-export activities reached 42,793 billion VND, growing by more than 22.2% and at this rate, according to forecasts of the Customs industry, it is likely that this year Hai Phong will continue to be rewarded for exceeding import-export tax revenue. Domestic revenue in 9 months reached 23,135 billion VND, an increase of nearly 34%. Thanks to that, the city can still "rely on itself", continue to pour capital into many large and key projects such as: Dong Khe 2 street, the road from the intersection of Nam Cau Binh to Mang Nuoc street,Road 359 Thuy Nguyen, Road 10 (the section from Da Bac Bridge to Kien Bridge), Rao 1 Bridge, Dinh Bridge, Quang Thanh Bridge, improving the pavement of many major streets (such as Hoang Van Thu, Tran Phu, Nguyen Duc Canh, Quang Trung, Tran Hung Dao, Dinh Tien Hoang), model new rural communes...
Some other economic indicators are still growing, such as export turnover and port throughput; The number of workers in industrial parks is still increasing, from just over 160,000 workers, now increasing to nearly 170,000 people, showing the attraction and potential capacity of labor and employment of Hai Phong.

Although Hai Phong has achieved many remarkable achievements, the city determines that it needs to continue its efforts to improve and not "rest on its laurels". Accordingly, the remaining tasks for the last 3 months of the year are very heavy, many targets require relay races and year-end sprints to be completed. According to the analysis of Comrade Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People's Committee, compared to the whole country, Hai Phong's progress in disbursement of public investment capital is at the top but compared to the city's requirements, it has not met the requirements; The capital source is available, but the site clearance and construction progress is slow, requiring more drastic and synchronous solutions in the fourth quarter. In particular, special attention should be paid to a number of key projects such as Dong Khe 2 road and technical infrastructure.New urban area North of Cam River, Road 10 (the section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge)... Domestic budget revenue has a quite high growth rate compared to the same period in 2020, but compared to the city's required target, a lot of effort is needed. Specifically, in the last 3 months of the year, VND 12,000 billion must be collected for the whole year of 2021 to reach domestic budget revenue of VND 35,000 billion. This is a particularly important factor for Hai Phong to maintain a GRDP growth rate of 13.5% or more. In particular, there is enough potential and resources to implement major projects in 2022 such as Van My apartment building, green park at South Cau Binh intersection, Tam Bac river embellishment phase 2, Administrative-Political Center North of Cam River, Conference-Performance Center North Cam River and a series of large traffic projects.n other, 14 model new rural communes...
