(DTTC) – According to the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), the economy is continuing to recover more clearly, mainly thanks to strong growth ofindustrial production and contributions of the foreign investment sector.

Accordingly, the economic growth rate in the second quarter increased by 6.46%, in the first 6 months it was 6.25%; Full year plan 6.2%. The number of newly established businesses and social investment capital for development also increased significantly. CIEM representative said that the demand and recovery of the business community has been clearly shown from April until now, helping GDP increase sharply, in addition to the improved results of attracting foreign capital and maintaining low inflation.

However, according to CIEM's assessment, the trend seems to be increasing from the bottom, but the growth potential seems to be going down.

In addition, economic restructuring activities have not yet achieved the desired results, shown by the fact that the arrangement and equitization of state-owned enterprises are still slow; The problem of bad debt handled by banks has not achieved clear results, as well as slow export growth.
