The People's Committee of Hai Phong city coordinated with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) within the framework of the mangroves for the future (MFF) initiative to organize a National Workshop on Green Growth - "Green Port" City. The workshop held on March 27, 2014 is an opportunity for stakeholders to:

(i) exchange views on implementing green growth, blue ocean economy, green port city;

(ii) share international experiences, and lessons in the country as well as Hai Phong city;

(iii) provide policy suggestions and action directions to implement the National Strategy on Green Growth in Vietnam and Hai Phong.

Previously, on the evening of March 26, 2014, the city held a reception to welcome domestic and international delegates to the Conference. The Department of Finance actively participated in the preparations and attended the Workshop.
