(Haiphong.gov.vn) – Within the framework of organizing activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022). On the afternoon of April 15, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board coordinated with the Foreign Investment Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment to organize the 2022 Investment Promotion Conference for Korean businesses with the theme "Hai Phong - a successful destination". Comrade Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and Comrade Do Nhat Hoang, Director of the Foreign Investment Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment co-chaired the Conference.
Attending the Conference were leaders of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of the Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Agency for Southeast Asia and Oceania, the Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Office in Hanoi, and representatives of the Korean Business Association in Vietnam; Representative of Vietnam Office of Commerce and Industry Hai Phong branch; Representatives of Departments, Boards, and industries of Hai Phong city and more than 150 Korean investors and businesses attended online and directly at 2 bridge points in Vietnam and Korea, along with industrial park infrastructure businesses in Hai Phong city.

This is an important event commemorating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022), to exchange and inform investors about the socio-economic development of Hai Phong city in particular and Vietnam in general; Strengthen promotion and attraction of quality and effective investment projects in industrial parks and economic zones (IZs, EZs) in the city, opening up many attractive cooperation opportunities between Korean investors and Hai Phong city in the coming time.
