According to information from the Vietnam Trade Office in Korea, the Korean Ministry of Finance and Strategy has issued a decision to impose anti-dumping tax (CBPG) on Ferro-Silico-Manganese products imported from India, Vietnam and Ukraine.
The applicable anti-dumping tax rates are as follows:
(i) For Vietnam's investigated goods: The anti-dumping tax rate for Vietnamese exporters is 4.06%;
(ii) For investigated goods from Ukraine: The anti-dumping tax rate for Ukrainian exporters is 19.06%;
(iii) For Indian goods under investigation: The antidumping tax rate for Indian exporters is 7.48% - 19.06%.
Time when the decision takes effect: from the date of publication in the official gazette
Application period: 05 years.
Previously, on December 7, 2016, the Korean Trade Commission (KTC) issued a notice initiating an anti-dumping investigation on the above products imported from Vietnam, Ukraine and India according to Article 60.3 of the Korean Customs Law. On May 31, 2017, KTC applied temporary anti-dumping measures with a tax rate of 7.48% on Vietnamese manufacturers/exporters. On September 14, 2017, the KTC issued the final conclusion of the case according to which the anti-dumping tax rate for the three countries is from 4.06% to 19.06%.
