Speaking at the anniversary meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized: Bulgaria was one of the first 10 countries in the world to recognize and establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam on February 8, 1950. Over the past 70 years, Vietnam-Bulgaria relations have been continuously nurtured, with new and positive developments in all fields. Hai Phong city receives valuable support from the Bulgarian Government and people, especially in the fields of education, sports and health.
