The new construction investment project of Rao 1 bridge has a total investment of more than 2,200 billion VND, built in 4 districts including: Ngo Quyen, Le Chan, Duong Kinh and Hai An including construction of Rao bridge and intersection. Rao Bridge 1 is a permanent bridge with steel structure and prestressed reinforced concrete, 30.5 m wide, 456.5 m long, including 11 spans, the main span has a steel arch, hollow plate beam guide span. The intersection under the bridge is built into a grade-level intersection consisting of single rosette-shaped bridge branches mixing flow in the roundabout intersection, combined with traffic island canalization on the first floor to access Lach Tray, Ngo Gia Tu, Thien Loi, Cat Bi routes, urban trunk roads and vice versa. Particularly, Lach Tray street will expand from the intersection to house number 392 and the Hai Phong Footwear Company area. Project implementation time is in the period 2020-2022.
