(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 15, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam together with leaders of functional branches, units and localities inspected the progress of the project to build an access road and Cao Quy pile yard conservation area, Lien Khe commune, Thuy Nguyen district and organized the Project Inauguration Ceremony.
According to Thuy Nguyen district's report, after more than 4 months from the project's commencement date, up to this point the project's construction volume has reached 91.25%. The construction of the road with a length of 3,488km has completed digging the roadbed, driving bamboo piles, spreading geotextile fabric, gravel aggregates of types I and II, and precast box culverts; Asphalt concrete construction reached 67%; Light poles have been installed along the entire route; Completed construction of 300/500m of sidewalk at the end of the route... For the pile yard conservation area, the exhibition house has now been basically completed, the construction unit is focusing on painting the wall beams, completing the main doors, windows and tiling the outside of the house; The pile shelter has completed installation of 10/10 space frames, and is currently constructing canvas for 3/9 modules; pile pit under constructionHDPE waterproof membrane; The sidewalks and trees have basically been completed.
Thuy Nguyen district leaders affirmed that they will focus on directing and requesting the Contractor to mobilize forces to construct the remaining workload. At the same time, focus on implementing acceptance procedures for project items to ensure completion before September 30, 2020, to meet the conditions to hold the Inauguration Ceremony in early October 2020.

In just the past 2 weeks, since the project progress check on August 31, 2020, the volume of work performed has been quite large.
To ensure the project's completion schedule, the Vice Chairman requested the Investor and contractor to continue to mobilize maximum machinery, equipment, and human resources evenly spread across the construction site. The Vice Chairman emphasized that because the construction project is in a weak land area, units must pay close attention to construction techniques and ensure quality requirements. In the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on completing the Exhibition House to hand over the Department of Culture and Sports together with the City Museum to soon bring in exhibits, artifacts and issues related to relics; Request construction units to urgently complete the parking lot before October 5, 2020.
