Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh gave such instructions at a meeting to review the progress of the Hai Phong rainwater drainage, wastewater and solid waste management project phase 1, on the afternoon of October 19. Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Project Management Board to urgently develop a construction chart, have appropriate construction organization measures to manage and review the implementation process, thereby clearly demonstrating the responsibilities of each party. At the same time, it is affirmed that this is a particularly important project, the city leaders have committed to implementing it on schedule, so there is no alarming situation of violation of commitment.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the city's authorities to coordinate closely and specifically review each issue to resolve it completely. If there are any problems, they must quickly report to the City People's Committee.
Regarding site clearance work, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested Ngo Quyen district to urgently clear the land for 2 households along the An Kim Hai canal and 3 households in Vinh Niem lake, besides proactively coordinating with press agencies to strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for the people; Le Chan district soon cleared land at the location of the Vocational College of Technology, Economics and Fisheries to hand over to the contractor to carry out construction; Thuy Nguyen district quickly clears the remaining area of the isolation buffer zone of Gia Minh solid waste treatment complex and completes procedures for approval and handover of resettlement according to regulations. On the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen advocacy work, have construction measures to minimize the impact on people's lives and take advantage of the consensus and support of the people.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested the Project Management Board to develop a plan in the most positive direction, taking the date of July 28, 2018, to review the tasks, and on that basis to urgently develop a specific and detailed summary report, which emphasizes the problems that need to be resolved completely to report to the City Party Committee and People's Committee.
