Up to this point, site clearance work serving the project in the city has reached 16.31/20.2 km (reaching 81%); with 1,341/1,502 households (reaching 89.3%); 91,535/96.71 hectares (94.65%). In Thai Binh province, 489/681 households have been cleared (reaching 71.8%); 277.04//37.58 hectares (reaching 72.03%) with a total cost of 3.67 billion VND.
Currently, the investor has submitted and approved the regulations and contractor selection plan; The project enterprise has submitted the construction drawing design of related items to the Ministry of Transport for appraisal; Receive and establish boundaries to protect the ground on the ground, conduct clearance of mines and explosives in the area of the ground handed over by the locality.

Through listening to the report and opinions at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuoi said that recently the Department of Transport and the Project Management Board have not had active coordination with investors and localities during the implementation process. The Vice Chairman requested the Department of Transport to urgently coordinate with Kien Thuy district to research and propose resettlement plans. Assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to establish a Working Group to support localities in reviewing and resolving problems related to land clearance, early appraisal and approval of compensation plans, continuing to speed up the progress of land clearance in the area, and implementing measures to speed up construction work.
The investment project to build a road route through the city of Hai Phong has a total length of 29.7km; The starting point of the project is at the intersection of Provincial Road 353, Dong Neo junction area (km11+800 provincial road 353) in Do Son district, Hai Phong city; The end point on the new National Highway 37 (under construction, km2+384.15) connects with the section of the coastal road project through Thai Binh province, in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province. The project belongs to group A, level I traffic works, designed on the scale of level III plain roads.
