(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of September 28, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh went on a field trip to check the progress of the Ho Sen - Cau Rao 2 road construction investment project, section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection.
According to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the investment project to build Ho Sen road - Rao bridge 2, section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con intersection includes 3 items: Nguyen Van Linh intersection (including overpass and intersection roundabout) has been completed and put into operation from May 9, 2019; The trunk road from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection and the bridge over Sen Lake (with a route length of more than 1,590 m) is currently under construction; and The section from the intersection of Cho Con Street to To Hieu Street is preparing cadastral measurements to serve site clearance work.
The site clearance work of the trunk route from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection passes through 4 wards (Du Hang Kenh, Hang Kenh, Du Hang and Trai Cau) with a total land recovery area of more than 59 thousand m2. To date, Le Chan district has basically completed land clearance work for 470 households/539 plots of land, with a total approved amount of 908 billion VND.
Regarding construction work, up to this point, the project has completed the bridge over Sen Lake, drainage, technical trenches, lighting, and asphalt concrete in front of the People's Committee of Le Chan district. The section from Cong Doan Hotel to the end of Du Hang ward, the left side of the route has been paved with asphalt concrete, the right side of the route is preparing to spread asphalt concrete. In the next section towards the intersection, the contractor is focusing heavily on drainage and road foundation construction, with an estimated project implementation volume reaching about 63% of the contract value.

Through field inspection at the project, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuyen recognized and praised Le Chan district and the Project Management Board for being fiercely and strongly involved with creative ways. Up to now, the project has basically completed the site clearance work. Regarding funds for compensation payments, support and site clearance, funds for moving technical infrastructure works, and funds for demolishing housing projects, the Vice Chairman requested the State Treasury to support the Project Management Board and localities in disbursement work.
The Vice Chairman requested Hai Phong Electricity Company to urgently carry out the undergrounding of the electric cable grid system; Within the area of cleared land, contractors continue to focus heavily on construction work to speed up the completion of the project.
