(Haiphong.gov.vn) – “Continue to accelerate site clearance progress, focus on organizing construction, ensuring labor safety and traffic safety during the construction process.” That is the guiding opinion of Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh at the progress inspection of the Binh Cau South Traffic Intersection Construction Investment Project, on the afternoon of July 26.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh inspected the progress at the project construction site.Speaking at the project site, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee praised Hong Bang district and An Duong district for their many efforts in site clearance work. The Vice Chairman noted that in the past 2 weeks, the progress of site handover in the two localities has been accelerated, achieving positive results. He requested localities to continue to closely follow the progress and adhere to the commitment to hand over site clearance to serve project construction.
Regarding land prices, the Permanent Vice Chairman requested that by July 29, 2019, relevant departments and branches must submit plans for land price approval to the City People's Committee; The Department of Transport and the Project Management Board continue to complete procedures for constructing railway underpasses, and coordinate with the General Department of Railways to ensure absolute railway safety during the construction period.
The Permanent Vice Chairman also thanked the city's people for agreeing and sharing traffic difficulties during the project's construction period, and requested relevant units to strengthen their forces, guide, regulate, and divide the flow, ensuring that people participate in traffic most conveniently.
The Standing Vice Chairman requested the Department of Transport to coordinate with the Project Management Board to urgently carry out appraisal work and submit for approval to soon start construction of the investment project to build a road connecting the Nam Cau Binh intersection to the intersection of Ton Duc Thang - Mang Nuoc - National Highway 5; The Project Management Board coordinates with relevant departments, branches, and the City People's Committee Office to review and propose appropriate adjustments to the phase 1 design to report and request the policy of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee before actual implementation.
The South Binh Bridge Intersection Project is a level II traffic project with a scale including: the main items are a direct overpass in the direction of Binh bridge, Dai Dai 2 road and an underpass in the direction of Bach Dang - Hong Bang street. There will be a grade-level intersection with the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line at locations Km98+090 (overpass), Km98+250 (underpass) and maintain the same intersection. current level at Km98+250 to serve vehicles from Hong Bang street to Hung Vuong street going to Hai Phong city center and vice versa.
