Through field inspection, Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Tho stated clearly that the construction progress of auxiliary works of the Rao 1 Bridge Construction Investment Project up to this point has not met the requirements set out by the city, the amount of work is still quite large. The Vice Chairman emphasized that this is an important project in the city's urban transport development, so the early completion of the project will contribute to creating a mark as well as an urban highlight of the city. The Vice Chairman requested the Project Management Board to direct contractors to urgently carry out construction, before May 12 to complete the park and Thien Loi street in Hai An, Ngo Quyen and Le Chan districts, and complete the artistic lighting system; Before June 15, complete the entire park in Duong districtKinh river and the embankment downstream of Rao bridge... Along with that, cleaning was organized, flags and flowers were planted to create a jubilant and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 67th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day.
City leaders asked units to focus on speeding up the progress of completing the project.
The Vice Chairman also requested the Project Management Board to coordinate with the City Department of Transport to organize traffic flow at the intersection of Bui Vien - Rao Bridge - Lach Tray; Coordinate with relevant units to move pumping stations and water pipes on Thien Loi Street to create ventilation and safety for this route.

Reporting at the inspection, leaders of Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the Rao 1 Bridge Construction Investment Project has completed construction of the bridge to open to technical traffic on January 25, 2022. For bridge, road and intersection items, including: navigation safety signaling system, surface painting of abutments, pillars, bridge girders; artistic lighting system; Construction of C12.5 plastic at branches, frontage roads, Thien Loi street, intersections of Bui Vien, Cat Bi, Ngo Gia Tu streets. Up to this point, the amount of work has been basically completed... For the landscape park, the pedestrian stairs on the Ngo Quyen bank have basically completed the landscape park and traffic islands; On the bank of Duong Kinh, the walkway and shade trees have been completedcoolers, decorative trees, lawns... The upstream and downstream river revetments, the contractor is focusing on construction to complete the downstream before May 30 and the upstream before June 15. The value of the implemented volume is estimated at 98% of the contract.
