(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of April 30, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities inspected the progress of implementation and acceptance of the investment project to renovate the Tam Bac River (section from Lac Long bridge to Tam Bac park).
Inspecting the field at the project site, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized that this is a key project of the city with the goal of creating an architectural highlight, contributing to beautifying the city center strip as green - clean - beautiful, modern and civilized, meeting the needs of tourism development, completing the axis of green space, water surface, city climate regulation... which is supported by a large number of city residents.
Up to this point, the project's items have basically been completed, Hong Bang district along with contractors are making efforts and actively completing the renovation and embankment on both sides of the Tam Bac River towards forming a walking street to serve residents and tourists.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested Hong Bang district to coordinate closely with consulting, design, supervision agencies, contractors, relevant departments and branches to review and re-examine all construction items of the project, continue to complete the project to ensure absolute quality, technique, aesthetics and safety, avoiding errors.
Assign the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Departments of Transport, Information and Communications and the City People's Committee Office to inspect and appraise each work item of the Project, reporting to the City People's Committee on May 2, 2019.
Regarding the preparations for the inauguration of the project, the Standing Vice Chairman requested Hong Bang district to preside over coordination with agencies and functional units to ensure environmental sanitation, security and order on the roads and sidewalks of the Project; Prepare to carefully organize an economical and practical inauguration ceremony, creating excitement and consensus among the people; At the same time, there is a synchronous plan to exploit and use the project to promote socio-economic efficiency.
According to Hong Bang district's report, the Tam Bac River Rehabilitation Project, currently the construction packages have reached over 90% of the volume, the contractor has completed dredging the river bed; For the construction of The Lu and Tam Bac roads, technical infrastructure of wastewater drainage routes, installation of cable pipes, water supply lines, planting of trees... have been completed; The lighting part is being actively completed. The contractor has also completed the construction of embankments along Tam Bac and The Lu streets including pile driving, road connections, box culverts, and wharf areas; Completing the infrastructure of all resettlement plots, constructing road foundations, installing sidewalks, pouring sidewalk concrete...
