(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 26, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho chaired a meeting with relevant sectors, localities and units to hear progress reports on the implementation of the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10 from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge.
According to the Management Board's report, regarding site clearance work for the project, Thuy Nguyen district has completed site clearance work at Luu Kiem Resettlement Area, approved compensation plans for more than 100 households in Kien Bai Resettlement Area; Inventory all of the people's trees on the handed over public land... For the road sections that have been cleared, the Project Management Board directs the contractor to speed up the construction progress of the project items...
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, the section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge, has an investment scale of upgrading and expanding 12.9km of road according to the scale of a level III plain road, 4 lanes.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho noted changes in site clearance work, but the results still did not really meet the requirements. To ensure construction progress, the Vice Chairman requested the Project Management Board and Thuy Nguyen district to coordinate closely to speed up site clearance progress. In the immediate future, focus on site clearance for the resettlement area in Kien Bai commune. Assign the Department of Transport to preside over and coordinate with Thuy Nguyen district, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and functional units to clearly determine the land origin of a number of organizations to develop support plans to ensure compliance with legal regulations, promptly advise and propose to the city plans and adjust designs if necessary. Assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to provide guidancen, support the Project Management Board and Thuy Nguyen district during the site clearance process. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also noted that, based on the available ground, the contractor must urgently mobilize vehicles and equipment to divide into several sections and organize construction immediately. The construction process needs to absolutely ensure traffic safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, the section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge, has a total investment of more than 1,220 billion VND, from the city budget, the construction investment scale includes: Renovating, upgrading, expanding 12.9km of road according to the scale of level III plain road, 4 lanes. Build 03 new bridges next to the old bridges including: Hang Luong bridge, Gia bridge and Trinh Xa bridge, 02 resettlement areas, including: Resettlement area in Kien Bai commune with an area of 4.22 hectares including 224 resettlement lots and Resettlement area in Luu Kiem commune with an area of 4.5 hectares including 196 resettlement lots. The project is implemented through 8 communes including: Kien Bai, Thien Huong, Thuy Son, Dong Son, Kenh Giang, Luu Kiem, Luu Ky, and Gia Minh (Thuy Nguyen district).
