On March 17, 2015, Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board issued an adjusted Investment Certificate to Yanagawa Seiko Vietnam Co., Ltd., certificate of adjusting legal representative information, increasing total investment capital to implement the project "Manufacturing, processing and assembling components, parts, precision metal structures and PTFE for cars, motorbikes, machinery and office equipment" at Nomura Industrial Park - Hai Phong, An Duong district, Hai Phong city. Accordingly, the total investment capital was adjusted to increase from more than 28,134 million USD to more than 31,884 million USD.
The goal of the project is to produce, process and assemble components, parts, precision metal structures and PTFE for cars, motorbikes, machinery and office equipment. The scale for a stable production year includes components and parts for automobile engines of 75,000,000 units/year; components and parts for motorbike engines 2,000,000 units/year; electronic throttle body 3,300,000 pieces/year; components and parts for machinery and office equipment 11,500,000 units/year. This is the 6th foreign-invested project in Hai Phong industrial parks and economic zones adjusting to increase total investment capital since the beginning 2015 to present./.
